What happens if you do not have a will or trust?
If you have not planned to have either a last will and testament or a revocable living trust to handle your affairs after you've passed away then you're not doing the appropriate amount of planning that you really should do. If you die without a will in the state of Florida or a trust which tells everyone who's in charge and where your assets are going, the state of Florida will give you a will and you may not like what the state of Florida says as to the person who is in charge or the people who will be inheriting your assets. It is very important to make sure you appoint the person to be in charge and who your beneficiaries will be of anything that you are leaving behind.
