Who needs estate planning?
What I like to say is, whether you're 18 or 80, everyone needs a plan. An Estate Plan consists of many different documents. A Basic Estate Plan should have the core essential four documents. You should always have a last will and testament, saying where your assets go after you've passed away. On the lifetime planning side, lifetime legal documents, you should have a Florida Durable Power of Attorney, a healthcare surrogate designation for general medical decision making, and a living will, of course if that's what you desire, to make sure that end-of-life decision making is fully defined.
