Danielle Faller is a Board Certified Elder Law attorney at Hemness Faller Elder Law. She practices in the areas of asset protection planning, Medicaid eligibility planning, estate planning, probate, guardianship, and trust administration. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law in May 2013 and graduated cum laude from the University of North Florida in 2010 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English. Danielle is currently serving as Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee and Vice Chair of the Newer Practitioners Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is also a member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. In 2021, she was named Member of the Year by the Elder Law Section and has been listed as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine for the past two years.
In 2014, Danielle co-authored a book with Attorney Alan Gassman of Gassman, Crotty, & Denicolo, P.A. entitled “The Florida Legal Guide for Same Sex Couples” which discusses the many changing areas of law in a Post-DOMA America and how lawyers and advisors should counsel their same sex couple clients. When she is not advocating for the elderly, she enjoys spending her time volunteering for a local dog rescue and has even had a television appearance encouraging individuals to plan for their pets in their estate planning documents.
Danielle is a native Floridian and was born in Eustis, Florida. She now lives in Brandon, Florida with her husband, Douglas, and their three dogs, Oakley, Harvey Dent, and Lady Bear. In her free time, she enjoys boating, fishing, reading, and rescuing dogs.
